Tidal Training (Open)

"Aaaaagh!" Storm charged at his opponent. He slashed his claws in quick swipes, before ducking a blow to the head. He jumped back a little bit as his opponent kept attempting to attack him. Storm parried each blow in quick succession before being surprised by a tail sweep, knocking him onto the floor. He tried to get up, only to get pinned by his opponents claws.

"Ugh! You win. Good match," he admitted reluctantly. The opponent let him get up off the floor. They were in the training room of The Tidal Domain's castle.
"Good job," the male SeaWing who was Storm's opponent replied. "You almost beat me there."
"But I didn't," Storm said back. "I am going to take a break." He sat down and rested his head on the wall.
"Alright. Maybe we could train later."
Storm nodded to the SeaWing as he left the room. He needed to be stronger! What if another tribe decided to attack them? He needed to be at the top of his game.

After a few minutes, Storm got up. He wanted to keep training. Maybe someone else would like to fight him.

Draken, Healer safe, was jotting things in his journal as usual. Making sure he would remember whatever would happen soon. He decided to go training today, as he did want to increase his strength, he grabbed his journal and quill and began to head to the training room in the Tidal domain's castle. Soon ariving at the training room, he wasn't expecting to see Storm, the king. He smiled slightly and went toward Storm slowly. "Hello Storm,.. I mean..." he coughed, then resumed his sentence ".. King Storm.... I didn't know you would be here... Are you in he middle of a training session? If so, did I interrupt you in any way?" Draken asked kindly.

Storm smiled as Draken, the Sage Healer, entered the room. Hello, Draken." He laughed. "No need for formalities, friend," he replied happily. "And no, you did not interrupt anything. I was actually about to look for someone to fight with. Would you like to train with me?" He looked at Draken and hoped he would say yes.

Draken was happy to know that he would be training with the king. He put his journal and quill down slowly as he began to get ready. "I would delighted to train with you, Storm..... If things go to far.... I can easily fix it too.... Now how shall we begin, would you like me to make the first move?" Draken asked in a great mood, happy to find out that he had something to do instead sitting around doing nothing.

Storm smiled, glad that Draken would fight with him. "I doubt it will go that far," he reassured him. "But yes, you make the first move." He got into his battle position and waited for Draken's move.

Draken let out a slight chuckle and decided not to tell storm that if he accidentally went nightmare mode then it would've gone too far. Draken then stopped thinking about Nightmare and got into his battle stance. He then attempted to strike Storm's chest slowly, wondering what storm would do.

Storm parried the attack at his chest before attacking Draken with his own blows to his chest. Storm used those blows as a sort of bait attack, since immediately after he spun around, bringing his tail flying across the ground, trying to sweep Draken's legs from under him.

Draken was impressed when Storm countered his attack, of course he wasn't surprised since he was fighting the king. Draken quickly saw Storm trying to sweep him and jumped over his tail before Storm could hit his feet. Then Draken took his mace tail and slammed it on the ground, causing the ground to shake a bit.

Storm was surprised at Draken's reflexes, seeing how he dodged his tail attack. It took Storm a moment to recover, and in that time Draken had slammed his tail-mace down and it shook the ground. It caught Storm off-guard, leaving him vulnerable to a follow up attack.

Draken saw Storm was down and then tackled him, he then held both of storm's arms down. "Would you like me to stop sir?" he asked as he saw Storm was losing this spar, he knew that Storm wanted to train, but he didn't want to repeat the same thing over and over again.

// Wait, is it cheating if Storm uses his lightning powers? //

Storm gasped as he hit the ground, driving the air out of him. He wasn't out of this fight yet though, if he could help it. He didn't want to win this using his lightning powers, since that would be cheating. This was physical combat, not magic.

Storm growled with determination as he tried to bite Draken's chest and stomach and trying to launch him off with his back legs.

Draken wasn't expecting storm to continue the fight. As Storm bit his stomach and chest, then launched away with storm's back legs. Draken slowly got up as he was launched and stared at storm, giving him a chance to get up as well. "I'll take that as a no." Draken said as Storm didn't respond to his question earlier.

Storm chuckled at Draken's remark before lunging himself at his opponent once again, swiping at his chest area

Draken wasn't expecting Storm to immediately lung and strike at his chest. He fell to the ground as he was caught off guard. He slowly got up and took a deep breath as he lunged at Storm, attempting to strike his legs, to take him off balance.

Storm let Draken get up when he knocked him to the ground. "Don't let yourself be caught off guard," he said, before being lunged at himself. He jumped into the air as he swiped at his legs and tried to land on top of Draken to pin him to the ground.

Draken slightly chuckled at Storm's remark. As he missed his attack, Storm was able to dodge him and pin Draken down. He realized that Storm began to take the upper hand and decided to switch it up once again. He pushed Storm off him quickly, got off and then attempted to swipe at Storm's legs again, hoping that the attack wouldn't miss this time.

Neptune's large form cast a shadow along the halls of the palace walls, his red eyes scanning the place for any signs of life. One would think he was patrolling, perhaps looking out for danger, but no, Neptune was simply making sure he wasn't being followed. Not that he would be, the guards were smart enough to tell when something was up. But still, Neptune was vigilant, and he occasionally glanced over his shoulder to check for anybody behind him.

Nodding to a guard at his post, Neptune perked up when he heard the sounds of a battle. Prowling through the halls like a wolf, he turned the corner and came to a large double door, big enough to fit a huge dragon inside. He recognised it as the door to the training arena. So it was a spar.

Curiosity drove Neptune to open the door, standing on his two legs to open it with his front claw. It gave a soft 'hiss' as it dragged itself along the floor. Able to fit through just one door, Neptune dropped the few inches back onto all-fours and peered at the scene that laid before him.

Two dragons, one he recognised as the SkyWing King, the other he didn't recognise. Blinking, he observed, before doing a wide circle around them towards some targets. He was calm and relaxed, but he was wary, never takings his eerie red eyes off the two until he was facing some targets.

Sweeping his tail from side to side at a slow pace, Neptune suddenly lashed it, slamming into three targets and sending them flying into the air. He shot one with his water jet, sending it splattering against the wall, before he did the same to the other two.

Working quickly, he blasted another target with his water jet and snapped open his wings while he sent another, larger target into the air with his tail, along with two other wooden ones. Leaping into the air, he flapped his wings once before using them to slam into the targets, spinning at an incredible speed. The targets crashed into the walls and blown themselves into a million pieces.

Landing, Neptune had been timing himself in his head and noticed he'd done this in nine and a half seconds. Not bad. At least he'd done it half a second earlier. When it came to battles, every second ticking meant a chance you could die, and in those situations, you had to make every shot count.

Folding his wings to his sides, Neptune continued to practise, generally ignoring the two who were having a spar. He glanced at them occasionally, but not many times. He was focusing on training.

Storm became aware of another dragon entering the room and starting to train. He tried to not let that distract him, though, and tried to focusing on winning this spar. He saw Draken's attack coming since he had tried to attack him like that just a moment before. Storm dodged and swept his tail across the ground once again to try to knock Draken over. He immediately tried to pin Draken down, hoping that he would succeed and end the battle.

Draken was surprised as Storm pinned him down rather quickly and dodged his attacks. He started getting a bit tired from the fighting as it seemed Storm would be the winner, Draken was fine with that, after all, he was more of a healer then a fighter. "Ok.. Ok.... You win, congrats." he replied, now waiting for Storm to get off.

Storm smiled and got off. "You fight well," he complemented, panting, tired from the fight himself. "At least for a healer," he joked, messing with Draken friendily. He turned to the unknown SeaWing behind him. "Hello, sir," Storm greeted the dragon."How are you?"

(I don't mind I'm still not sure what road Neptune will be taking, but it will definitely be in the military area. One of my goals is to have him be in a position where he can either advise the king or protect him )

Neptune heard a voice behind him and paused, claw inches from striking a target. Turning, he swept his tail to the side as he stood on his two back legs a small bit, peering at the one who had spoken. Recognising it was the king, Neptune rested on his four legs and bowed his head. "Your majesty," he greeted, lowering himself a few inches in a bow, before rising again. Raising his head, he fixed his eerie red eyes on Storm. "I am faring well, thank you." Briefly taking his attention off Storm, he turned his head and swiped his tail, hitting a target and sending it into a wall. As it exploded into pieces, Neptune looked at him again. "Yourself?" He asked, raising a brow slightly.

Neptune had that look about him that told anyone he dominated a room, despite his attempts to be respectful. His large size, combined with his eerie appearance and rather chilling voice, made him look a little creepy. Still though, despite the fact he didn't smile, he looked at his king with respect.

Storm shuddered inwardly as Neptune met hiss eyes. They were an eerie almost glowing red. He resisted the urge to look away so that he wouldn't appear rude. "Please don't bow. There is no need for formalities with me. I am a very casual dragon. Just call me Storm, please. He smiled at Neptune warmly.

"And I am doing well myself, thank you," he replied to his question. "So what rank are you within the tribe? I don't recall seeing you in the past." He tilted his head curiously.

Neptune nodded at Storm's words. "Very well, Storm," It seemed he was a casual king. Hmm, from what he knew, there hadn't been such a leisurely ruler in a while. It was good he lived on an age where a kind king was present. If not? Neptune probably wouldn't be here. Sweeping his tail to the side, Neptune glanced over Storm's shoulder at the blue dragon whose name he did not know, before returning his gaze to Storm's face.

At Storm's question, Neptune smiled a small smile, a ghostly version of Storm's friendly one. "I work quietly, which iswhy you haven't seen me before. I am a mere citezan, still trying to find my place here." flicking his tail, Neptune shifted his weight form his left shoulder to his right, cocking his head very slightly. "I am hoping to go down the military path, to protect the tribe. I am a bit of an aspiring politician of sorts, as well, so I'm looking for a rank in that area," He added, blinking his red eyes.

Glancing around the room, he decided to ask Storm a rather bold question. "Forgive me for such boldness, but would you like to spar?" he asked, a twinkle in hie eye, a twinkle of competitive playfullness. It was barely visible, but it was there.
